Job Description Summary:
At Paypal, change is a constant, and ensuring that we are able to deliver as many changes as possible as rapidly and safely as possible is essential to keeping up with our always accelerating growth and the demand for new features and capabilities. At the center of this is the Enterprise Change Management process owner. We are seeking an individual who is a proven expert at running change management process at scale for a global company. This individual needs to be both an expert in the ITIL fundamentals which are the foundation of the Change Management discipline, as well as have a deep understanding of agile, and modern software delivery methodologies which thrive on constant iterative change for continuous improvement. In a modern technology company the Change Process owner must create a process that flawlessly accounts for the speed needed to win in the industry, a highly traceable change record, and the process conformity of all integrated platforms ensuring they meet defined principals to reduce risk.

Job Description:

The Change Management Process Owner will be the person solely responsible for designing and maintaining the Paypal Enterprise Change Management Process. The Change process owner is a critical position that ensures Paypal has an efficient change management process that can be applied across all of our Enterprise Brands. The process must not only ensure the fast and flawless execution of changes against our many internal and external sites, but must also be tightly monitored through defined KPI's that demonstrates that our change process sufficiently reduces risk and is consistently applied to meet the requirements of the Enterprise Change Policy and our external auditors.

The Paypal Change Process Manager will:

• Stay in lock step with the Change Management Policy Owner to ensure our processes always align to the stated policy
• Define and refine the Change Management process and Handbook
• Demonstrate continuous improvement in process design and efficiency through KPI's
• Communicate Process Expectations to all Paypal Brands and Change Managers
• Maintain Change Process documentation and training to the Change Management teams
• Evaluate tools used by Change Management teams and Engineers to ensure they properly enforce/comply with the process.
• Collaborate with the Incident Management and Problem Management process owners wherever appropriate.

Skills
