TheClinical Assistant is primarily responsible for ensuring high quality andcontinuity in the provision of comprehensive primary medical care services. TheClinical Assistant is utilized in performing typical front and back officeclinical functions. The Clinical Assistant is under the overall on-sitesupervision of the Nursing Supervisor.

Environmental Hazards:
Possible exposure to hazardous material, hot and cold, blood borne pathogens.

Physical Requirements:

-Be innovative Education & Experience Position Qualifications: Required:
-High School Diploma/GED
-Completion of an approved Clinical Assistant educational program or 2 years related experience in a clinical setting
-On Dec. 7, 2021, a federal judge temporarily blocked the implementation of the federal contractor vaccination mandate and its associated guidance. Following the injunction, Oklahoma State University has, consistent with applicable law, paused the vaccination mandate.

Skills, Proficiencies, and Knowledge:
Knowledge of allareas related to clinic workflow. Excellent customer service skills and good communication skills. Abilityto multi-task while providing good patient care. Good computer skills andability to learn new computer systems as needed.
