Summary:
Responsible for assisting in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by performing various clinical laboratory procedures. The Clinical Lab Scientist correlates and integrates other patient data and interprets test results; performs maintenance procedures on equipment; performs and interprets quality control/assurance procedures to ensure and evaluate the validity of patient results.
Requirements:
A.Education/Skills •Bachelor's Degree and training in a National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences accredited program required.
B.Experience •None required.
C.Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications •Preferred that Clinical Lab Scientist must be certified with ASCP (American Society of Clinical Pathologists) or Board equivalent.
