Summary: Provides technical supervision and training to subordinate-level staff members; performs simple and complex laboratory test procedures in a timely manner as assigned; obtains and interprets data for diagnosis and treatment of disease; performs related laboratory technology duties.
Salary range for this position is $64,772 - $74,135 annually which includes a comprehensive benefits package. This position also includes a geographic differential of $4.60 hourly for a total salary range of $74,366 - $83.729 annually.
Qualifications:Required Education and Experience
License Requirement
1. Possession of a full license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York; or
2. Eligibility for full licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist in the State of New York.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Technology or a related health care discipline.
NOTE:
1. As a condition of continued employment, full license eligible incumbents must obtain and maintain the full Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure in the State of New York within six (6) months of their appointment to this title.
2. Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have the following skills/experiences:
- Previous/current experience in a Cytology setting
- Knowledge of Anatomic Pathology nomenclature
- Previous/current experience in a customer service setting
