ECS is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect to work in our Washington, D.C. office.

Job Description:

Technical Requirements:
Oversee cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, management and monitoring.
Use DevOps best practices to define deployment architecture.
Define container-based solution architecture.
Define the cloud formation template for any given solution.
Ability to design infrastructure architecture based on multi-tenancy requirements.
Work closely with application software engineering and technical teams to ensure successful rollout of the solution to the cloud.
Develop strong stakeholder relationships so that business vision and requirement are addressed correctly.
Analyze complex functional and non-functional requirements and make appropriate design adjustments, as well as provide effort estimates to support project management.
Good understanding of cloud security.
Good knowledge of cloud infrastructure, operating systems and networking.

Required Skills:

• Active Top Secret Clearance with the capability of Obtaining SCI/CI-Poly if needed to meet contract requirements
• BS Degree and 5 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines OR 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of education
• Experience with Cloud infrastructure setup.
• Demonstrated ability to lead solution design sessions.
• Ability to teach and mentor others.
• Experience with Atalassian suite of tools.
• Experience with Agile, Jira, and SAFe Methodologies.
• Be able to review cloud-related Requests for Change (RFCs) that may affect type-accredited VPC environments.
• Be able to support the security-related matters, to include ISSO/ISSE tasks, ATO, ATT, ACSA, AWS' and FedRAMP packages.
