Description:
Loyola Outpatient Center (Maywood) Urology clinic is open Monday-Friday with no late evenings or weekend hours. The staff have the option of working 4- 10 hour or 5- 8 hour shifts a week. Clinic consists of new and return visits plus a wide range of urological procedures. Staff also learn about the regulatory requirements for high level disinfection. Staff may float to other urology clinics in Berwyn (MacNeal), Burr Ridge and Melrose Park (Gottlieb).

Working under the supervision of their assigned physician, the Medical Assistant provides direct patient care, registration, scheduling, and other office-related tasks.

Minimum Requirements:

Education:

High School Diploma or GED

Certifications:

Must possess at least one (1) of the following Medical Assistant credentials:

American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)

American Medical Technologists (AMT)

National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)

National Healthcareer Association (NHA)

BLS CPR by the American Heart Association
