A successful candidate will join the Collections Strategy Professionals in solving some of the most challenging problems in a collaborative global environment. Our Data Scientists apply their analytical and technical skills to derive actionable intelligence. They analyze customer behavioral patterns to recommend business strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness of Collection efforts. They collaborate with Technology and Operations partners in developing innovative and personalized experience based on the most effective channels and treatments to optimize customer experience. Ideal candidates are problem solvers, equipped with strong analytical skills, suited to approach varied challenges in complex environments. Adept at creative and critical thinking, they can deconstruct problems and transform personal insights into large scale, state-of-the-art solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Explore the right data science techniques to solve business problems
• Derive actionable insights from available data. Explore new data sources if relevant
• Brainstorm new ideas with manager and co-workers and test hypotheses
• Present the outcome of the project to leadership

Basic Requirements:

• Pursuing a Master's degree in Statistics, Math, Data Science, or related fields.
• Proven ability to work independently and make good decisions with minimal direction
• Working knowledge of Microsoft applications, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Proficiency in SQL and Python
