SummaryThe Communications Manager supports the work of two large research centers focused on education policy by developing, editing and formatting strategic messages for distribution through various multi-media channels: policy briefs, press releases, mass emails, blog posts, and websites. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to assisting the Associate Director with coordinating board meetings, webinars, and public events, providing program support for research, as well as managing websites for both centers.
Required Qualifications* Bachelor Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field and/or two years' related experience
*Event-management experience.*Experience with New Orleans public schools or knowledge of local education issues.
