RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Content Designer I in Mountain View, CA. Essential Duties:

• Transform complex concepts and documentation into conversational, approachable language
• Craft UI text, product messaging, landing pages, emails, and other project deliverables
• Collaborate effectively with other designers, content strategists, product managers, and researchers
• Work directly with subject matter experts across the company
• Partner closely with engineers to find the best design solutions possible
• Advance a strong point of view, backed up by personal expertise, design rationale, customer data, and industry trends
• Work on multiple projects at a time, using strong communication skills to manage time and expectations appropriately
• Be a systems thinker who creates and documents scalable content design solutions

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or another relevant field
• 1-3 years of experience in content design, content strategy, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience working with design software like Sketch or Figma
• Experience designing user interface components, specifically
• Track record of working closely with subject matter experts to product on-brand user-facing experiences
• Comfortable working with engineers and speaking (or at least learning) their language
• Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• A strong portfolio demonstrating craft and collaborative process
