Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position, and are not intended to reflect all duties performed within the job. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ensure that all materials, workmanship, and repairs are in full compliance of the contract, plans, and specifications and all building codes
  • Review and approve all submittals and perform daily inspections of the work
  • Prepare reports, both daily and monthly
  • Monitor daily progress of projects
  • Review company quality control and safety plan
  • Possess a thorough and working knowledge of the plans and specifications of work performed
  • Serve a liaison between contractor and government QAR representative
  • Review and interpret plans, blue prints, site layouts, specifications, and construction methods to ensure compliance
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION

Required (Minimum) Qualifications
  • Four (4) years experience in preparing and enforcing QMS programs
  • High School Diploma or GED
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics
  • Quality Management knowledge of facility operations and maintenance
  • Good people skills
  • Proficient computer skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Job is performed in the field which can be both outside and in facilities. Some office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires use of a computer, keyboard, mouse and multi-line telephone system.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supervises/quality checks work performed by technicians
ADDITIONAL QUALIFYING FACTORS

As a condition of employment, may be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening, as well as have acceptable reference and background check results to obtain access to military base. Must have reliable transportation to/from work a necessity and must be able to obtain access to military installations.
