Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, and real estate management, with specific expertise in managing finances across multiple entities and utilizing Yardi software.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the financial operations of multiple entities within our real estate portfolio.
• Manage all aspects of accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for management and investors.
• Coordinate annual audits and tax filings with external auditors and tax advisors.
• Provide strategic financial guidance and support to senior management in decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with property management teams to optimize financial performance and achieve budgetary goals.
• Utilize Yardi software to streamline accounting processes, generate reports, and analyze property performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
• Proficiency in Yardi software is required
