Job Title: Controller

Location: Twinsburg, OH (In-office)

A Twinsburg, OH based manufacturing company is seeking a Controller to join their growing team. As the Controller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the financial operations of the company. Reporting directly to the President, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounting department, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.

Duties:

• Leading all activities of the finance team, including the preparation of internal and external financial statements, annual forecasts, audits, and budgets.
• Developing and implementing financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Providing strategic financial insights to support decision-making and drive business performance.
• Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Managing the annual audit process and liaising with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyzing financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
• Leading and mentoring a team of finance professionals to achieve departmental goals and objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Advanced degree/CPA preferred
• 10 years of finance/accounting experience in manufacturing
• Proficiency in Excel and MS Dynamics
• Proficient analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights effectively.
• Hands-on leadership experience
