RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Corporate Accountant in Saraota, FL.Principle Accountabilities:

• Communicate with Corporate department heads to ensure complete and accurate expense recognition and forecasting for all selling, general and administrative expenses
• Work closely with the sales administration team to ensure complete and accurate expense recognition for sales commissions and customer rebate programs
• Performs account analysis and reconciliation, including overall balance sheet fluctuation analysis and SG&A trend reporting to senior management
• Manage the accounting and disclosure associated with provisions for environmental, legal, restructuring and other matters
• Responsible for accounting, analysis and financial reporting disclosure associated with selling, general and administrative expenses, as well as supporting the Assistant Controller and Financial Reporting Manager in carrying out the responsibilities of the Accounting Department
• Implement fixed asset oversight role, including ownership over procedure, training, accounting and reporting by working closely with finance teams at all manufacturing locations
• Owns preparation and support package for external financial reporting assignments
• Related tasks as requested by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

• A Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required
• 3 to 6 years of progressive accounting experience (preferably with experience from public accounting, but not required)
• Working knowledge of accounting standards and principles
• Ability to meet deadlines in fast paced environment
• Demonstrated proficiency in Excel (exposure to pivot tables, V-lookup a +), Outlook, PowerPoint required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service attitude
• Strong analytical skills for researching and identifying discrepancies
• Works independently and in a team
