Senior Credit Research Analyst

The Senior Credit Research Analyst will focus on corporate and/or municipal bond credit research and other related activities required to support a disciplined investment selection and review process for Globe Life Inc. (NYSE: GL) and its affiliates. The Senior Credit Research Analyst is responsible for coverage of several sectors and hundreds of securities within Globe Life's approximately $18 billion fixed income portfolio.

• Monitor and analyze credit risk through research on corporate (and/or municipal) debt issuers
• Provide timely research opinions and recommendations (verbal/written) to enhance portfolio objectives
• Proposition relative value trades using fundamentals, industry outlooks, prospects, ratings, technical data, etc.
• Drive investment research initiatives tied to the advancement of the department and its strategic goals
• Proactively brief management on news/developments with thorough analysis supporting portfolio impacts
• Incorporate firm value-added analytics using scenario analysis on distressed investments
• Maintain relationships within the industry (sell-side/third party analysts, ratings agencies, industry experts) and issuer management teams in addition to attending conferences and other events
