About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to support the development and delivery of financial plans, which identify areas of financial needs for the high net worth clients at Commerce.

Essential Functions

• Review financial information collected from clients or prospects and ensure information is correct and consistent with client/prospect goals
  
• Manage tracking process for receiving, generating, reviewing and delivering financial plans
  
• Communicate benefits and features of services to internal referral source, including: regular updates on services, software, tips for gathering client/prospect applications, and success stories
  
• Enter information into the financial planning software in an accurate and timely manner
  
• Review each financial plan draft for accuracy, integrity, suitability of solutions and consistency with client goals
  
• Perform other duties as assigned
  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

• Intermediate understanding of financial services with practical knowledge of basic financial planning techniques
  
• Excellent problem-solving skills
  
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interact with financial planning software
  
• Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  
• Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  
• Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
  
• Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
  

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in general business, finance, accounting, management or personal financial planning or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  
• 2+ years personal financial planning experience required
