CTV Developer ? (Android TV)BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated CTV Developer - (Android TV) for Remote.Title: CTV Developer - (Android TV)Location: Remote -Duration: Long Term JOB SUMMARYAs the Connected TV Developer, you will be responsible for designing, architecting, building and maintaining native TV applications for Client Media Group's news television properties.The successful candidate must have an established background developing customer-facing native SmartTV/Connected TV (CTV) applications, a strong technical ability, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Development and delivery of Client Media Groups Google TV and Fire TV news apps
• Design, architect and build innovative and well-engineered applications with intuitive, well-designed user interfaces that satisfy both internal and external customer requirements
• Participate in and help drive architecture and design decisions
• Participate in the Scrum activities (daily standups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and planning)
• Participate in and influence user interface interaction and design decisions
• Work closely with the QA team and partner teams for testing and ultimate delivery of high-performing high-quality applications.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in software development with 2-4 years of native application development
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines (or equivalent education and experience)
• Proven expertise in native Android app programming ((Java/Kotlin, Android Studio)
• Experience working with and integrating video streaming (delivery and playback)
• Deep understanding of memory management, file I/O, network programming, and multi-threading required
• Solid experience integrating 3rd party API's and SDK's
• Experience using GIT or other revision control software
• Experience with Agile development projects, especially Scrum
• Published examples of applications on the Google Play and/or Amazon Fire App Stores
• Experience managing Google Play app store compliance and submissions
• Passion for working in high performing teams with rapid development cycles
• Expertise in Google Analytics and Ads integration (GAM) a plus
• Proven results-oriented person with a delivery and quality focus
