Provides instruction to students in culinary arts skills to ensure client satisfaction and retention for the Company.
Key Duties
- Provides training to students on culinary skills, food preparation and operations to ensure account retention and fulfillment of contractual obligations. Plans training, including defining objectives, methods, and timetables to support lesson plan.
- Accountable for the delivery of the highest level of quality instruction. Provides specific and meaningful feedback to students pertaining to strong and substandard performance. Manages other culinary instructors and frontline Sodexo employees.
- Ensures students demonstrate an active customer hospitality orientation towards clients and have appropriate licenses and certifications, equipment, inventory and resources to meet learning objectives.
- Stays current with industry knowledge and trends and provides learning opportunities for students.
- Establishes a safe work environment for students by enforcing and providing training on safety, equipment maintenance and personal protective equipment requirements. Driving the Zero Harm mindset.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
