PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

The following are principal duties of the Customer Service Specialist

• Represent Spartan Tool in a positive and professional manner
• Work with all inside personnel and outside contacts to proactively satisfy existing customers service request and needs
• Work with Customer Service Manager and Team to continually develop new customers and new markets
• Perform any other duties assigned by your manager
• Order entry of all incoming orders
• Manage incoming customer calls
• Develop quotations in cooperation with the Customer Service Manager on an as needed basis
• Conduct ongoing customer needs, analysis, research of customer requirements
• Perform routine follow up calls with current customers

Responsibilities and Authorities:

• All of the duties of the position are completed as per the job description
• Inside sales duties are performed accurately and with a sense of urgency, while keeping the needs and interest of the customer and Spartan Tool in mind
• Collecting and report customer information and issues

Qualifications:

• 1 to 3 years customer service or inside sales experience required
• 2 Year degree preferred
• Working knowledge of Microsoft office, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
• Experience working with an ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics) preferred
• Customer focused mindset and positive/reliable team member
