SCOPE OF POSITION:

The Cycle Counter functions as the operations support person to the plant and financial management team. This position is responsible for inventory analysis, production order analysis, and reconciliation. This role is cross-functional and requires an understanding of multiple functions, i.e., materials, operations, and accounting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Running various D-365 inventory and production reports

Conduct periodic cycle counts in various production areas and compile the results into an excel file for use in analyzing D-365 on-hand quantities versus the physical inventory results

Assist in pre-physical Inventory preparation which includes completion of inventory placards

Can think creatively and will review processes for improvements (e.g. modify the production data input process to gain efficiency).

Must have the ability to maintain confidential information.

Can work effectively across multiple functions and can understand the impact of one function to another when decision selections are made (e.g. increasing expense item inventory and the impact to the profit and loss statement).

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:

Must be detailed oriented and has the ability to work independently and gather information as required to complete a task.

Must be strong in Microsoft Office Software - Outlook, Word, Excel and D-365
