Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware issues and replacing memory, HDs, motherboards, etc.

• Call HPE, Dell, and Cisco for warranty break fix

• Perform data center inventory and asset management using DCIM

• Perform equipment audits

• Travel to N.A. data centers to rack, stack, cable, any hardware request

• Assist in shipping items between data centers

• Assist the on-call Data Center Administrator

Requirements

• 2 years' experience in IT related work, preferably in data centre environments

• Experience working with HP, Dell, and Cisco server equipment

• Experience working with Out of Band (OOB) solutions and configuration

• Ability to act quickly, competently, and confidently

• Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities

• Strong written and verbal communications skills

• Must be able and willing to lift 50 pounds

• Must be able to travel to N.A. data centers and have reliable vehicle

Pluses

• Familiar with Data Center plant operations such as: Generators, PDU's, UPS's, CRAC units and Life Safety Systems
