Individual has direct accountability for the timeliness and quality of services that are provided by our staff and third-party service providers. This role provides leadership and strategic direction to multiple globally diverse teams in the support and enhancement of application solutions. Works with all IT Services teams (infrastructure, applications teams, business partners, business clients, external vendors, and service delivery partners) to ensure stability and proactive identification of issues in support of business objectives and projects.

Is responsible for establishing day-to-day operational support for IT applications that includes supplier management activities, business continuity, and overall service delivery support operations including change, incident, problem and configuration management. Prepares reports and makes presentations to sector/staff unit management detailing quality, performance, business issues and budget vs. actual results.

  • Delivery of Information Technology solution support and enhancement for regional and global analytical solutions
  • Enable proactive IT solutions to drive business growth and profitability Deliver innovative, efficient and cost-effective solutions to meet enterprise needs and to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Insight and understanding on "best practices" and keeping pace with competition and peer companies.
  • Thought leadership in visualization and guided analytics.
  • Work with businesses and capability teams to establish business process sustainability Extensive collaboration with other IT Services Delivery Teams to ensure high performance of the global application portfolio.
  • Recommend and drive the prioritization of Information Technology decisions for the global businesses to ensure world class delivery and value for ITS investment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Global Application Delivery - Support and enhance and analytic initiatives in accordance with business and IT priorities and annual budgets.

2. Business-IT Strategy - Promote and support the long-range IT systems plan consistent with business objectives. Support and facilitate the alignment of corporate IT, CDO strategies to business strategies.

3. Relationship Management - Represent the face of IT to the CDO vendor partners. Identify technology opportunities which provide strategic/tactical advantages in planning, managing and conducting the business. Engage with key customers and other external business partners to deliver IT solutions in a high quality, globally conscience manner.

4. Build Talent - Promote and build global leaders, develop staff with the needed functional and technical skills required to meet K-C's growing application portfolio and changing technology needs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • B.S., B. A. degree. A master's degree in a related field is preferred but not required. 7+ years of equivalent experience in information technology leading large, remote, global teams.
  • Demonstrated skills in application delivery, client relationship management, strong sense of urgency in delivering results, business knowledge, intuition and judgment, high cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity, strong communication/collaboration.
  • Good exposure and experience in data and analytics technologies - Cloud (MS Azure, Snowflake, PowerBI), Business Intelligence (SAP HANA, SAP BW)
  • Experience in leading a technical team of Solution architects, Data Engineers, BI & Data Visualization Engineers
  • Ability to drive Operational Excellence KPIs (Continuous Improvements, Incident/Tickets Reduction, etc.)
  • Significant experience working with outsource partners.
  • Strong facilitation skills required. Must display vision and resiliency.
  • Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.

Influence: Influences organization, customers, suppliers, partners and peers on the contribution of own specialism. Builds appropriate and effective business relationships. Makes decisions which impact the success of assigned projects i.e., results, deadlines and budget. Has significant influence over the allocation and management of resources appropriate to given assignments.

Complexity: Performs an extensive range and variety of complex technical and/or professional work activities. Undertakes work which requires the application of fundamental principles in a wide and often unpredictable range of contexts. Understands the relationship between own specialism and wider customer/organizational requirements.

Business Skills: Advises on the available standards, methods, tools and applications relevant to own specialism and can make appropriate choices from alternatives. Analyses, designs, plans, executes and evaluates work to time, cost and quality targets. Assesses and evaluates risk. Communicates effectively, both formally and informally. Demonstrates leadership. Facilitates collaboration between stakeholders who have diverse objectives. Understands the relevance of own area of responsibility/specialism to the employing organization. Takes customer requirements into account when making proposals. Takes initiative to keep skills up to date. Mentor's colleagues. Maintains an awareness of developments in the industry. Analyses requirements and advises on scope and options for continuous operational improvement. Demonstrates creativity and innovation in applying solutions for the benefit of the customer/stakeholder. Takes account of relevant legislation
