The Role in Brief:

Demand Generation Marketing Specialist

EAB is seeking an organized, results-oriented Demand Generation Marketing Specialist to execute outbound, multi-channel marketing campaigns for best practice research products aimed at helping colleges and universities address some of their greatest challenges. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Research to accomplish goals and objectives.

This role is based in either our Richmond, VA or Washington, D.C. office.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner with various teams (e.g. Design, Sales, Events, Research) to execute strategies and drive demand.
  • Summarize best practice research on a variety of topics-from cost-saving opportunities for college business officers to what the university of the future will look like-to share via diverse channels (e.g. email, landing pages, social media).
  • Write copy that compels college and university administrators to learn more about EAB research and solutions.
  • Use an email marketing automation platform to execute campaigns.
  • Manage lists from conferences and other sponsorships, including using Salesforce reports and Excel.
  • Align external data sources with internal data and assign leads to sales territories.
  • Communicate campaign updates with relevant internal stakeholders in a timely manner.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in product marketing, vertical marketing, or a related field.
  • Superb project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple stakeholders and activities.
  • Experience using an email marketing automation platform to plan and execute email campaigns, ideally Marketo
  • Experience working with CRM, ideally Salesforce
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Experience with Excel (e.g. creating pivot tables, vlookups)

Ideal Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing
  • Relevant experience in the education or research industries
