Our client a very busy Principal is seeking to hire a TTP Design Assistant. This role is in West Palm, Florida. The person in this role might be asked to travel to NJ and the Hamptons as needed. In office hours can range on the day but between 9am - 6pm. This position requires someone with proven experience in a fast paced, demanding role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the lead designer in all aspects of the design process
• Prepare detailed proposals, presentations, and mood boards to present to Principal
• Source furniture, fabrics, lighting, and accessories from vendors and trade resources
• Create floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Manage vendor relationships and orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliveries
• Stay up-to-date on current design trends and make suggestions for projects as appropriate
• Assist with installation of projects, including hanging artwork, placing furniture, and styling accessories
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area and materials
• Update project files and maintain accurate records of invoices, contracts, and product samples
• Perform administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments and ordering supplies
• Research and ability to be resourceful and track down information/unique items

EXPERIENCE:

• BA in interior design or related field is highly preferred but not required
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in interior design
• Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Photoshop
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• A strong sense of aesthetics and attention to detail
• Exceptional organizational and multi-tasking skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed during demanding periods, meet deadlines - "thick skinned" personality with a real sense of urgency
• Proactive, motivated and "can do" attitude
• Ability to problem solve
• Comfortable working in a home office that includes children
• Schedule M-F, some weekends, available on email/ phone 24/7
• Valid driver's License

COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:

• Paying between 85K - 100K DOE + Discretionary Bonus + Fully Paid Medical/Dental Benefits + Lunch
