Job Summary:

Programs and operates manual or tape and reel equipment or operates other automated programming equipment to produce customer approved first article semiconductor devices.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Operates production equipment.
• Completes and updates all programming documentation as required.
• Performs in-process lot acceptance.
• May assess, troubleshoot and/or resolve problems associated with running first articles.
• May conduct and perform scheduled preventative maintenance processes and procedures, as well as perform minor trouble shooting and needed adjustments to equipment.
• May perform quality inspections to ensure all orders meet established criteria and all product quality issues are resolved prior to shipment.
• May analyze and utilize customer supplied information and interpret device manufacturer's specifications on device functionality to create a functional job file for programming selected devices
• As a lead, monitors production to ensure machines are running at capacity to meet production goals, notifies management of any issues that may delay shipments, ensures employees are following procedures and processes and coaches employees to improve performance
• Identifies, investigates, and participates in opportunities to improve processes and procedures, to include various key performance metrics.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Tasks are routine, repetitive and manual in nature with minimal complexity or variation and specific to the job.
• Work is performed under supervision with detailed instructions. Priorities are provided for performing work.
• Interacts mostly with immediate peers within assigned team. Based on nature of the role, may respond to requests from others in the organization.
• Impact of decisions is primarily contained to the work of the job.

Work Experience:

• Typically requires less than one year of related experience.

Education and Certification(s):

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Distinguishing Characteristics:

• Skills to master:
• Manual Programming: must be certified on two programming platforms / processes
• Auto Programming: must be certified on one platform and know all machine functions
• Tape & Reel: must be certified on two tape and reel platforms
• QC: must be certified on one QC/ inspection process

This position will have access to ITAR product and therefore be authorized to access product. This position requires the employee to be a U.S. Citizen or National, or a lawful permanent resident as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1101(a)(20), or a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
