We are looking for someone to join our team inside Infrastructure and Operations to assist in the design, build and delivery of the application stack for product teams. This is a permanent position by way of contract to hire. This role can be fully remote.

Responsibilities will include:
* Working as part of an application team to build and maintain the right cloud infrastructure architecture, balancing performance and resilience with cost.
* Working within an Agile team, to help drive outcomes. High degree of autonomy.
* Ability to work at scale with shifting timelines and priorities.
* Scoping of requirements and defining a delivery plan for infrastructure
* Continuously improving the operational maturity of teams. Adhering to architectural standards.
* Hands-on Operational DevOps work daily (Containerization in a production environment, Kubernetes daily)
* Migrating a large existing set of infrastructure into EKS. Working with multiple product squads, and core engineering team.
* CIDC pipelining build in an Agile, Amazon Centered Environment
* Assist in the design, build and delivery of the application stack for a product teams
* Working as part of an application team to build and maintain the right cloud infrastructure architecture, balancing performance and resilience with cost.
* Unit Testing
* Scoping of requirements and defining a delivery plan of infrastructure
* Utilization of our core platform using Terraform and Puppet to deliver high quality, operationally mature infrastructure
* Contributing to building and maintaining a set of tools that enable developers to self-serve for most operational tasks

Key Skills and Experience:
* Cloud - expert knowledge of AWS ecosystem
* Operating Systems - Expert level Linux administration skills.
* Scripting - strong scripting skills (BASH, Python, or similar)
* Software Delivery Pipelines - building and deploying code with Jenkins or similar tools, that allow for rapid release of high quality software.
* Provisioning / Infrastructure as Code - skilled in use for Terraform (or similar CloudFormation)
* Containers / Container Orchestration - Docker, Kubernetes, etc
* Configuration Management tools - Ansible, puppet or similar tools.
* Source Control Management - knowledge of GIT
* Monitoring / Logging - creating robust monitoring / logging capabilities for teams.
* Security - ensuring end to end security for all products supported.
