We are seeking an experienced and energetic marketer to serve as Director of Digital and Supplier Marketing. The marketer in this role will create, will lead teams and agencies responsible for managing and executing on marketing campaigns to help accelerate customer success, loyalty, and product adoption across both buyer and supplier customers globally. The ideal candidate will have experience working with an online business to drive demand generation through timely and relevant messaging, and reinforce customer loyalty through newsletters, nurturing programs, email and other direct marketing channels.

A key to your success will be your ability to be an inspirational team leader, manage both the supplier community and vendor/provider relationships simultaneously, and develop a strong coordinated working relationship with the offline business, in a cross functional environment that includes talented colleagues in sales and marketing, product management, and customer success and support.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Develop buyer- and supplier-focused customer lifecycle programs aligned with business objectives. Programs include cross channel activities that engage and nurture customers across the customer buying cycle.

  • Provides leadership and direction to global sales and marketing teams. Develops and implements global business development objectives that focus on the integration of new technologies into our product portfolio.

  • Coordinate messaging and develop supporting assets that maximize awareness and product adoption for designated campaign focus area. Assets and activities may include email, webinars, social content, call campaigns, and events that map to appropriate target audiences and customer buying cycle stage.

  • Develops strategic relationships with key suppliers to partner in productive and profitable sales growth.

  • Coordinate campaign deliverables across internal cross-functional teams to ensure programs are complete, on budget and achieve target objectives.

  • Drive the execution of multi-step direct marketing programs, which can include email, nurturing campaigns and online and offline events.

  • Track and analyze campaign results for campaign optimization.

  • Recruit, hire and mentor top sales business development staff. Provide leadership and talent development for the business development staff and global marketing staff.

  • Regularly report performance to key stakeholders and decision-makers to illustrate the impact of customer adoption marketing on the business.

  • Conduct other marketing projects as necessary.

  • Provides leadership to managers, supervisors and/or professional staff

  • Is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related units

  • Develops departmental plans, including business, production and/or organizational priorities

  • Controls resources and policy formation in area of responsibility

  • Decisions are guided by resource availability and functional objectives

  • Looks beyond existing methodologies and own discipline to define and resolve complex problems

  • Develops plans and delivers results in fast-changing businesses and/or regulatory environments

  • Provides input to functional or departmental strategy

  • Manages large, potentially diverse teams of managers and/or senior professionals

What We Are Looking For:

  • Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 12 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent experience.

  • Experience working with an online business to drive demand generation through timely and relevant messaging

  • International experience a plus

Annual Hiring Range/Hourly Rate:

$225,000.00 - $275,000.00

Actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level. The pay ratio between base pay and target incentive (if applicable) will be finalized at offer.
