We are actively hiring for a Digital Business Analyst - Commercial.

Essential responsibilities

• Research, elicit and refine user-stories into functional specifications that meet the definition of ready.
• Understand the needs of multiple stakeholders by identifying the current and future state business processes.
• Provide recommendations and findings to the product owner for aligning business requirements to base product functionality across Guidewire's InsuranceSuite, including but not limited to PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and EnterpriseEngage (digital).
• Provide a business-orientated validation of user stories.
• Provide support for development and delivery of features, fixes and releases.
• Create and/or maintain user stories, product specifications/business rules, process flows, configuration requirements, data mappings, reference materials, communication content, and similar artifact.
• Perform impact analysis for proposed changes and/or incidents impacting systems and/or business processes and support identification of interim procedures if required.
• Plan for, lead and/or perform ad-hoc and structured testing activities as needed to support feature development, incident resolution, business inquiries and deployment activities.
• Perform operational activities for business-owned system functionality (such as VIN table updates, rate changes, agent transfer processing).
• Collaborates with various cross-functional teams, i.e. Product Manager, Business Owners, Architects, etc. to assist in design and delivery solutions.
• Ability to dive deep into multiple technical aspects of assigned application(s) and exhibit broad knowledge of other aspects, including overall system landscape, interfacing applications and functional capabilities.

• Experience working on an agile delivery team, with a preference toward scrum practices.
• Knowledge of insurance business and processes, and expertise in how insurance systems support the high-level business processes a plus.
• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of Guidewire's products, achieving professional-level certification in at least one product area.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or other technical degree.
• Experience: 3-5 years of overall progressive experience in software delivery.

In compliance of Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (EPEWA) we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles that will be, or could be performed in Colorado. If performed in Colorado, this position has a(n) salary range of $89,760-$105,600 with an opportunity for a company-wide annual discretionary bonus, through our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP), of up to 10% of eligible pay
