The Digital Solution Manager plays a critical role in supporting the governance and lifecycle management of the solutions portfolio within the SAMPS (Sales and Aftermarket Product Support) area. This role involves enabling informed decisions regarding the portfolio, aligning digital solutions with strategic objectives, ensuring efficient execution, and maintaining collaboration with stakeholders.

Role & Responsibility

• Provide insights and recommendations to enable informed decisions about the solutions portfolio based on applications and projects within the SAMPS domain
• Create and implement a comprehensive portfolio management framework, including tools and methods, to effectively manage the portfolio's components
• Align the SAMPS solutions roadmap with the strategic objectives of the Bobcat Organization, ensuring that the portfolio contributes to the organization's forward-looking plans
• Drive and closely monitor the progress in executing the solution portfolio roadmap, ensuring that projects and initiatives are on track
• Review, manage, and appoint the lifecycle status of solutions within the portfolio, including decisions on enhancements and new developments
• Prioritize strategic business requirements for the solution portfolio, harmonizing solutions to drive process reusability across global and regional needs
• Approve solution runtime budgets within the portfolio and support the SAMPS Director in managing the budget for IT and business costs related to the portfolio
• Secure collaboration with vendors and external suppliers for solution delivery, ensuring the successful implementation of projects
• Collaborate with product managers and Solution leaders to determine whether requirements should be handled as enhancements or as new development initiatives
• Approve release plans for solutions in line with business priorities, ensuring that they align with the overall portfolio strategy
• Chair the Solution Portfolio forum, fostering collaboration among identified stakeholders and preparing necessary decisions related to the solution portfolio
• Approve solution run-time budgets within the portfolio
• Approve assignment agreements/SLAs within the portfolio
• Prioritize requirements when they fall outside the allocated budget frame, keeping solution strategic roadmap in mind
• No authorities to approve projects (New Development) independently. Will be consulted in conjunction with business for potential runtime impacts and support capability needs

Functional Competency

• Possess a deep understanding of solution portfolios and related processes, with a track record of successful portfolio management
• Have a good understanding of process and solution dependencies and interfaces, allowing for effective decision-making
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of both business and digital processes, bridging the gap between technical and business requirements
• Be an excellent collaborator, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Existing knowledge of Bobcat solutions is a plus

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Technology or a related field
• Several years of experience in solution portfolio management or a similar role
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities
• Proven ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
