Analyzes, designs, implements, operates, deploys and supports the organization\'s information technology resources including computer hardware, operating systems, communications, software applications, data processing and security, telecommunication systems and software/database products. Acts as a liaison between the IT development group and business units to translate business requirements into application requirements for the development and implementation of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. Recommends innovative solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Provides strong technical and functional business support
  • Serves as senior member of the team who builds knowledge within, cross trains, influences and guides others
  • Collaborates and facilitates with necessary members to resolve extremely complex business requirements and designs solutions that are cost effective, efficient and forward thinking
  • Drives multi-faceted Governance meetings and works closely with management to develop ROI, cost or valuation estimates
  • Possesses broad, technical IT background with strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Understands and is accountable for contractual obligations and develops SOW\'s
  • Anticipates opportunities and can articulate recommendations and suggestions to business and IT
  • Maintains extensive business relationships and broad general knowledge across multiple business and IT functions
  • Mentors, guides and advises lower level Business Systems Analysts
  • Leads or serves as a PM or SME for medium to complex projects to design and architect solutions, guide the development of test cases and scripts, manage project costs and ensure projects meet objectives
  • Performs other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration or a similar degree field and/or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 8 years related experience is required although employees typically have 10-20 years; oil and gas industry experience preferred
  • Project Mgmt Professional (PMP) certification preferred
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to influence at a local level and across a broad organization
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Special Demands
  • This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc. Noise level is typically low. Frequently in a stationary, sitting position for prolonged periods of time. Regularly moves about inside the office to complete tasks, attend meetings or to access the copy machine or file cabinets. Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the office. Occasionally may lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.

  • Salary Range

    The salary range for this job is \$83,300 - \$145,600
