Description: Our client is currently seeking a Dir. IT, Integrated Business Planning

Director, IT Integrated Business Planning & Procurement

Location: Hybrid/Remote

Position Summary:

The Director of IT Integrated Business Planning & Procurement reports directly to the Head of IT Logistics and Planning. In this role, you will lead the development, maintenance, governance, and evolution of the portfolio of IT services and solutions supporting Campbell's Supply Chain Planning processes. This includes Demand, Supply, Capacity, Production, Deployment, and Materials Requirements Planning. You will collaborate with IT and business partners across the end-to-end Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to drive strategic solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Alignment:

• Understand Supply Chain Planning and IBP business drivers, both current and future state, and develop corresponding IT strategies to achieve targeted business outcomes.
• Design and lead the implementation and maintenance of a relevant IT services and solutions portfolio based on Supply Chain Planning and IBP functional strategies, business capabilities, and requirements.
• Identify organizational and financial impacts of the IT portfolio and work with Supply Chain leaders to manage these effectively.

Technology Trends and Innovation:

• Stay informed about technology trends and practical applications of existing, new, and emerging technologies.
• Apply this knowledge to enable new and evolving business and operating models within the organization.

Collaboration and Influence:

• Collaborate with business partners to design long-term strategy plans and technology roadmaps.
• Influence strategic goals by fostering productive relationships with IBP leaders across the organization.

Systems Strategy and Prioritization:

• Develop the overall systems strategy, set priorities, and identify initiatives.
• Oversee projects and establish adoption plans to maximize value for the Planning organization.

Stakeholder Management:

• Own the relationship with relevant Supply Chain Planning leaders and key stakeholders.
• Leverage these relationships to drive value from Planning initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Proven experience in IT leadership roles with a focus on Supply Chain Planning and IBP.
• Strong understanding of technology trends and their impact on business processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Responsibilities:

Collaboration with Stakeholders:

• Work closely with key stakeholders to define a prioritized set of business outcomes and services necessary to achieve those outcomes.
• Lead the IT team in successfully delivering these business outcomes by partnering with business colleagues.

Strategic Leadership:

• Provide visionary leadership and direction to the IT organization, ensuring it contributes effectively to driving value for the Supply Chain Planning function.

Application Operations Partnership:

• Partner with the Application Operations team to ensure that support activities are efficiently managed and governed according to service level agreements (SLAs).

Team Management and Development:

• Manage team personnel, focusing on developing their skills and capabilities to align with the strategic plan.
• Recruit new talent to address emerging needs and skill gaps within the team.

Financial Management:

• Understand expense budgeting, forecasting, and project budgets related to IT initiatives.

Vendor and Service Provider Relationships:

• Manage relationships with major vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions that meet the organization's needs.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Deep Knowledge of IBP and Supply Chain Planning Processes:
  
  • Understand the intricacies of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and the Supply Chain Planning processes.
  • Familiarity with the information and technology supporting these critical functions.
• Supply Chain Planning Platforms and Tools:
  
  • Possess broad knowledge and experience with Supply Chain Planning platforms and tools.
  • Strong expertise in SAP APO or similar planning systems (e.g., Kinexus or o9 planning software).
• Translating Business Needs into IT Solutions:
  
  • Ability to bridge business requirements with IT solution design.
• Interpersonal and Leadership Skills:
  
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
  • Strong leadership and client management abilities.
