JOB ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Global Security Strategy Development and Execution: Develop the strategic direction for Global Security across the company. Partner with and influence executive and senior leadership and other stakeholders to influence critical business decisions regarding Global Security matters. Evaluate current practices regarding matters associated with Global Security and develop a plan to enhance and manage the same on an ongoing basis. Develop and deploy integrated security risk-based policies, procedures and strategy to protect, on a global basis, the Company's employees, facilities, and assets. Identify, evaluate and report emerging security threats and trends and integrate countermeasures into the Company's Global Security strategy. Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments of risks and exposures to our global operations. Develop and deploy mitigating factors, including political turmoil/instability, terrorism, criminal activity, industrial espionage and other acts detrimental to the Company. Serve as primary liaison with federal, state and local law enforcement.

Physical Security Strategy and Programs: Monitor and ensure a proactive approach to CEO, BOD, leadership and employee protection. Identify and mitigate risks to ensure a safe environment at all facilities worldwide. Develop and implement travel security policies and capabilities for the Company. Monitor action plans to support the company's responses in cases of kidnapping, robberies, burglaries, extortion, and other threats to company assets, customers, or employees. Review, evaluate, monitor and upgrade (where necessary) security at all facilities. Direct and oversee risk-based security efforts f

or events held around the world.

Business Continuity and Internal Investigations: Support the Company's business continuity by evaluating risks, identifying and monitoring emerging security threats and developing and implementing appropriate risk mitigation plans. Serve on EHS Council as representative of Global Security organization, sharing expertise on global security trends and best practices to mitigate security risks. In collaboration with the Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer and the Vice President, Internal Audit, and under the direction of the Chair of the Audit Committee, provide support and counsel on a case-by-case basis to internal investigations conducted by the Law Department and Internal Audit.

Global Security Programs: Develop and maintain a co-sourced/outsourced network of providers and key contacts in appropriate federal and foreign law enforcement agencies to effectively support security needs around the world. Develop and implement as appropriate independent Global Security audits. Lead, educate, coach and support business leaders and employees on security threats and the behaviors and processes that will mitigate these risks. Ensure that all security and protective activities (internal and external) are within existing legal and ethical boundaries.

Leadership: Provide work direction to the security team as well as timely and constructive feedback to ensure employees have a clear understanding of their work, roles, business goals and performance standards. Manage performance issues when necessary. Develop and coach employees to retain and grow talent. Support employees in career development at Mosaic. Hire, mentor and coach team members to create a healthy and empowered team.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION - DEGREE

REQUIRED

Bachelor's

EDUCATION - FIELD OF STUDY

REQUIRED

Business, Criminal Justice, Security or other related field.

EXPERIENCE - YEARS & TYPE

REQUIRED

15+ years of progressively responsible work experience in global security management and leadership for a Fortune 500 or similarly sized enterprise

A proven track record of success in partnership and collaboration with senior organizational partners for the development and delivery of global security strategies and solutions that ensure the growth and soundness of a successful enterprise.

PREFERRED

Record of leadership success in the military, law enforcement, national investigation agencies, international intelligence, homeland security, information/cybercrime security, criminal psychology, counterterrorism, hostage negotiations, kidnap recovery and other security-related background/experiences strongly preferred

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

REQUIRED

  • Detailed knowledge of the security industry landscape and developments.
  • Working knowledge of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), with demonstrated skill to collaborate with legal counsel on FCPA and other anti-corruption and anti-bribery related legal issues.
  • Displays a high degree of interpersonal skills, tact and diplomacy with all constituencies; strong collaboration skills with peers and colleagues; effective at building trust and confidence.
