Position Overview

Join NPD's Walmart team and help NPD expand our impact across Walmart Inc. You will be empowered to lead an important and dynamic set of client relationships with one of NPD's most valued partners. You will lead a team that strives to deliver tangible client impact for Walmart and its customers through the application of our product portfolio and the creation of data-driven insights leading to action.

As part of NPD's Walmart team in Bentonville, you'll support one of NPD's most strategic clients, join a fun team that includes both year-round team engagement events and philanthropic activities when the social environment allows. We enjoy a small office culture where we pitch in to help each other, while also drawing on the benefits of being part of a mid-sized, privately held, global company.

This position is based in Bentonville, Arkansas

Overall responsibilities

• Deliver client satisfaction by listening, understanding, and bringing solutions to challenges and opportunities.
• Develop a deep understanding of NPD's product portfolio and their application in measuring markets, competitors, and customers.
• Accurately interpret NPD data and clearly articulate insights to both internal and external audiences in written and verbal formats.
• Manage, develop, and retain a great team that thinks long term and acts with urgency.
• Create and execute a Joint Partnership Plan with senior executives at Walmart.
• Collaborate with the larger NPD Walmart team and internal business partners.
• Influence NPD product strategy to meet the long-term needs of General Merchandise industries.
• Other tasks as the needs of the business dictate.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience in a data-based client leadership role
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Track record of using transaction data, consumer data, or an equivalent to develop insights and recommendations, preferably in a retail context
• Demonstrated experience in influencing both external clients and internal stakeholders
• You're an independent thinker, inquisitive, collaborative, adaptable, and accountable
• Respond quickly and accurately as necessary when working on related projects and initiatives.
• Able to work successfully on-site at both our company and client's offices
• Experience working with or for Walmart in a General Merchandise industry is a plus
• Experience in Consumer Technology is a plus
