Director of Account Management, Group Retiree Solutions

Locations: Aligned to an Elevance Health office, but ability to work remotely

Job Summary

Responsible for leading account management retention activities for the GRS book of business. Products include Group Medicare Advantage and Part D (Group MA/MAPD) Typically directs renewal and growth/upsell activities for book of business generating annual Premium Equivalents in excess of $2.4B.

How you will make an impact:

  • Provides dynamic leadership and strategic direction to Account management team to drive growth and retention.
  • Develops strategies and executes sales plans to achieve membership growth and financial goals.
  • Develops sales, marketing and compensation plans.
  • Develops and motivates staff to achieve common goals.
  • Exhibits an external focus on customers, consultants, and other key stakeholders to drive success.
  • Exhibits executive presence with an ability to navigate heavily matrixed environment.
  • Strong internal and external communication skills required.
  • Reports to VP of Sales and Account Management.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 8 years of professional/leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

PREFERRED SKILLS, CAPABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE:

Excellent managerial and leadership skills strongly preferred.

Experience with Group Insurance Benefits strongly preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $142,480 to $269,287

Locations: California; Colorado; Nevada; Washington State; Jersey City, NJ; New York City, NY; Ithaca, NY and Westchester County, NY
