Job Purpose:Reporting to the Chair of the Department of Chemistry, Physics, Geology & the Environment, the Director coordinates all aspects of Winthrop's critically important and increasingly acclaimed Eagle STEM Scholars Program. Incumbent develops and implements scholar recruitment efforts; monitors student progress; leads and manages day-to-day operations; develops and implements data-driven metrics and tools to increase program effectiveness; works with leaders to identify and implement key initiatives; supervises up to eight student and staff employees; manages summer activities; mentors and serves as a role model for students; works closely with families and faculty; and represents the program in the local and broader communities.
