What you'll do...

Want to use your critical thinking & problem-solving abilities to influence the future of eCommerce? The Director, Operations, Strategy Last Mile Delivery will oversee the strategy and operation of the central engine supporting our gig driver platform. This leader will shape our strategy, set the bar for operational excellence, and help to grow our eCommerce business. They will develop and drive key strategic initiatives, shape the product and tooling roadmap, manage key tech partnerships, drive annual planning process, define and roll out scalable best practices and optimization efforts, and build out robust processes, KPIs and reporting to make each of these initiatives successful. This role will drive impact, improvement, and innovation to create a truly frictionless and engaging online shopping experience and grow our eCommerce business.

What You'll Need
  • 10+ years related experience in Consulting, Business Operations, Supply Chain/Logistics, or related field
  • Master's Degree in Business or related field, highly preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer-focused retail and/or e-commerce environment
  • Strong customer obsession focused on building the right experience for our customer
  • Strategic mindset with ability to influence and drive large-scale projects across several stakeholder teams
  • Self-starter with analytical skills, able to identify problems and/or opportunities for improvement, assesses viable solutions, and develops and executes complex projects and comprehensive action plans
  • Conveys a sense of urgency in ways that motivate others to complete responsibilities and achieve goals
  • Uses relevant business metrics, analyses, and reports to measure, monitor, and improve performance. Identifies and applies sound, fact-based criteria in setting priorities and making decisions
  • Highly organized and self-motivated with distinctive problem-solving capabilities
  • Able to deal tactfully, respectfully, and effectively with a diverse array of individuals; develops and communicates logical, convincing reasons, including lessons learned, to build support for one's viewpoints and actions. Involves others in decisions and plans that affect them, when appropriate
  • Demonstrates creativity and strength in the face of change, obstacles, or adversity. Adapts to competing demands and shifting priorities. Updates knowledge and skills to handle new complexities, challenges, and responsibilities.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $143,000.00-$286,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives.

Additional compensation for certain positions may also include:

- Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) (based on location)

- Stock equity incentives

Minimum Qualifications...

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations, or related field and 5 years' experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 7 years' experience in operations, project management, or related area. 3 years' supervisory experience.
