Summary

The Director, US Marketing, will be responsible for several key work streams for development and execution of US commercialization plans for the assigned asset(s) and/or indication(s). The Director, US Marketing will work cross functionally with clinical development, global marketing, insights/analytics, market access, medical affairs, field teams and other colleagues to maximize the commercial success of the portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and maintenance of US marketing and commercialization plans for current and future indications. Plans to include, but not limited to: communication strategies, product positioning, messaging, promotional plans, sales and demand forecasts, life-cycle plan, sales force size and deployment, sales training plan, market access plans, customer segmentation and targeting
  • Work with cross functional team and provide appropriate direction and manage the implementation of the US marketing of assigned asset(s) and/or indication(s).
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management on all aspects of organizational launch readiness and/or in-market performance.

Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Degree in related discipline preferred
  • MBA preferred
Experience Qualifications
  • 10 or More Years related experience, preferably in pharmaceuticals (or commensurate education and experience) required
  • 7 or More Years of which are in product management or comparable function preferred
  • Oncology marketing experience required
  • Prior people management experience preferred
  • Previous experience working in an alliance preferred
  • Sales, sales management experience preferred
Travel

Ability to travel up to 30% Domestic travel as well as travel to Japan and Europe
