Seeking Dispatcher in Phoenix, AZ working for a great company!

Must have strong computer knowledge working with:
Vista Viewpoint, Operating System

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Schedule and dispatch workers, equipment, and vehicles as work requests are received.

Must have strong computer knowledge working with:
Vista Viewpoint Operating System

Interact & work closely with:
Branch Manager, Sales, Operations Manager & Other Staff

Specific Role Responsibilities:

• Receive customer calls, emails & enter daily work orders into Vista.
• Multitask dispatching and scheduling daily jobs.
• Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required.
• Schedule and dispatch workers, work crews, equipment, or service vehicles to appropriate locations according to customer requests, specifications, or needs.

Job Requirements

• Ability to multitask in A fast paced constantly changing dispatch environment.
• 2-3 years computer based construction dispatching experience.
• Communication and organizational skills essential.
• Use of copy Machine - Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Etc.
• English - proficient in business writing and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of principles and methods for dispatching personnel and equipment.
• Knowledge of local thoroughfares, routes and surrounding areas.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record required when duties require use of motor vehicle.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random screening for illegal substances.
