Job Description

The General Motors Customer Care & Aftersales (CCA) organization is seeking to identify highly motivated and qualified individuals for potential future opportunities as District Service Managers. In anticipation of these opportunities becoming available, if you are interested in learning more about GM, completing this profile will allow us to stay connected. The Customer Care & Aftersales (CCA) organization is a division of General Motors that supplies replacement parts and automotive services through GM's network of dealers and other partners in over 100 countries around the world!

Due to this growth, we are hiring several District Service Managers across different regions within the United States. These roles require you to be completely mobile, and you will shift geographical focus as the need arises.

As a District Service Manager, you have practical, hands-on vehicle knowledge, and routinely conduct analysis of data on all facets of vehicle service operations including warranty administration, service operations and customer assistance cases. A high level of cross-collaboration is required to root cause sophisticated service-related issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Service department safety
  • Improve dealership service cycle time.
  • Advance vehicle repair issues for additional support.
  • Support dealership processes to prevent delivery of vehicles with open recalls.
  • Champion the resolution of Customer Assistance Center (CAC) cases.
  • Engage with customers in special cases.
  • Resolve Goodwill, Warranty and Policy Requests.
  • Ensure district STS training compliance.
  • Responsible for improving the technician experience.
Ensure compliance to parts retention policies for warranty repairs.

Additional Job Description

Qualifications:
  • 3 years of hands-on experience leading, guiding, and improving dealership service operations in a wholesale or, retail environment.
  • Intermediate level of vehicle technical knowledge including warranty administration, service operations and customer assistance
  • Ability to work cross-collaborate with customers and partners.
  • Ability to analyze data and improve processes
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Fosters open, inclusive culture that supports learning and encourages collaboration.
