Our curriculum combines online, video, and face-to-face approaches for a personalized transformative learning experience. Fielding Graduate University offers high-quality graduate degrees for professionals living, working, and studying anywhere in the world. We are seeking half-time and full-time doctoral faculty to work remotely for our graduate IECD (Ph.D.) program.

Fielding’s faculty members are distinguished scholar-practitioners. Core faculty lead virtual and in-person events with scholar-practitioner offerings at in-person sessions, including an annual January session in Santa Barbara, California.

The PhD in Infant and Early Childhood Development (IECD) is an interprofessional, multidisciplinary degree with an emphasis in infant mental health (IMH), and a Developmental, Individual Differences, and Relationship-based (DIR®) approach to assessment and intervention. The Fielding program has expanded to partner with various organizations, offering courses that support both infant mental health and developmental competencies. Through Fielding’s unique and innovative doctoral program, professionals from the fields of mental health, occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech and language, nursing, social work, special education, and other disciplines broaden their knowledge, deepen their holistic interprofessional view of children and their families, and develop strong doctoral level research competencies.
