Our Gottlieb Child Development Center is open Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 6:00 pm for children 6 weeks to 6 years old.

Our Gottlieb Child Development Center is open Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 6:00 pm for children 6 weeks to 6 years old.
Candidates must meet all DCFS requirements/qualifications. Responsible for the safety and welfare of the children in the center. Prepare creative and engaging lesson plans that follow the classroom curriculum. Provide a fun and caring environment for each individual student while maintaining all DCFS guidelines. Conduct observations of children; maintain assessments of the children's development; and plan daily activities to go along with lesson plans. Maintains regular communication with parents, co-workers, and directors providing daily communication surrounding child's progress.
Position Requirements:
Minimum Education:Required: Associates Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
Preferred: Bachelors Degree
Specify Degree(s): Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
Minimum Experience:Required: 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
Licensure/Certifications:Required:CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
Preferred:State of IL Food Service Sanitation Managers Certification
Other: CPR/First Aid Certification 15 Hours of CEU in Early Childhood Education
Computer Skills:Required: N/A
Preferred:Microsoft Outlook
Required Skills:Ability to communicate verbally
Ability to deal calmly and courteously with people
Ability to finish tasks in a timely manner
Ability to follow oral and written instructions and established procedures
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to organize workflow
