The Program Assistant is responsible for helping manage day-to-day operations of the Collegiate Recovery Community in addition to partnerships with the Office of Substance Use Intervention Services and the Indiana University Student Health Center. The Program Assistant will be directly accountable to the Collegiate Recovery Community Coordinator and, more broadly, to the Director of Substance Use Intervention Services. Responsible for the development of additional recovery-related programs, services, and partnerships with campus and community partners. Works with the Indiana University Student Health Center and Division of Student Affairs Marketing team to increase the Collegiate Recovery Community's visibility and social media presence. Responsible for data collection and program assessment in addition to recruitment of and outreach to historically underserved populations. Provides peer-to-peer and clinical support to students of the Collegiate Recovery Community.
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology and two years of clinical individual and group practice.
Excellent communication skills, including ability to communicate and exchange information with a wide diversity of individuals and groups. Ability to organize large projects in a cohesive manner. Ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously. Ability to use Microsoft Office applications.
Experience in social media management, marketing and partnership cultivation.
Working Conditions / Demands
Long periods of remaining stationary during presentations and/or outreach.
This is a part-time position up to 20 hours per week.
