  • Ensure that Spartan Tool EHS activities are in full compliance with all related Heico MESH Safety Standards, OSHA, DOT, EPA, & DEC regulations & achieve all Safety Goals established in Gensuite.
    • Provide Monthly Status Reports to the Operations Manager on or before the 3rd working day of each month. Include all Safety related Metrics, a snapshot of the Digital Cockpit, a past due and pending Training summary, and any significant milestones achieved.
    • Utilize the Gensuite as a means to monitor Compliance and Activities. Ensure full compliance with all training and cockpit goals as set in Gensuite.
  • Maintain All EHS Related Certifications and Training for All Employees, Contractors, and Visitors
    • Work with all departments to ensure processes and records are accurately maintained. Coordinate Internal Audits and Conduct Management Reviews as needed to ensure full Compliance and to drive Continual Improvement.
    • Conduct and coordinate safety and first aid training to inform workers about all safety-related policies, laws, and practices.
  • Develop a standard and implement an organizational Safety and Cleanliness culture that makes our facility a world class manufacturing operation while creating an atmosphere of personal responsibility and accountability.
    • Work with all departments to develop and support a Safety culture that is embraced by all employees. Drive Continual Improvement through Safety Incentives, Concern & Near Miss, and First Aid Reporting.
  • Maintain the Facility, Grounds, and Equipment in a productive and efficient manner while minimizing repair costs and production delays.
    • Schedule, prioritize, and implement Budgeted Capital Expenditures. Interact with Suppliers and Contractors as needed to obtain parts and services.
    • Utilize the Gensuite to monitor and document Preventative Maintenance activities.
  • Manage maintenance personnel.
    • Lead, develop, and support a team of maintenance personnel. Provide clear expectations, provide the support to achieve the expectations and maintain accountability. Manage daily job activities, approve weekly payroll, and conduct quarterly individual performance reviews.
    • Work with the Human Resources Team to maintain accurate Personnel Files for all direct reports.
