all a short driving distance from Washington DC and Baltimore, MD
Description:

  • 7am - 7pm or 7 pm - 7 am shift schedule
  • Reporting to the Director of Respiratory Care Services
  • Level III NICU
  • Excellent learning opportunities
  • Respiratory and Electrocardiography staff that takes pride in a meticulous workflow
Responsibilities:
  • Performs EKG's on all patient population
  • Performs Emergency EKG as requested.
  • Ensures proper hook up of all patients having EKG's and Holter Monitors.
  • Can correctly disconnect patient monitor, remove lead wires, electrode and tape form patient's chest.
  • Cleans patient chest and prepares tape an diary to be sent out to be scanned.
  • Prepares patient for cardiac stress tests according to policy and procedures.
  • Performs serial EKG's and blood pressure before, during and after stress test with cardiologist in attendance.
  • Disconnects patient from the cardiac monitor.
What you will need:

Required:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months experience performing noninvasive, cardiology procedures.
  • Any equivalent combination of education and work experience required to provide comparable knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Ability to communicate and work with medical professionals. Certified BLS
  • Certification in CPR
