The purpose of the Employee Health Nurse, Part-Time is to perform or assist with all Beryllium Surveillance tasks required to be offered to employees per the OSHA Beryllium standard and provide new hire, medical, return to work, and wellness services. The Employee Health Nurse performs various duties of treatment and recordkeeping for employees, visitors, and contractors.

You will have the opportunity to:

  • Conduct a variety of health assessments, including respirator fit testing and pulmonary function testing
  • Coordinate with Company Medical Departments for employee records. Contact employees at required intervals and obtain all required authorizations to conduct Beryllium Surveillance testing.
  • Conduct BLPT Blood Draws, prepare blood draw kits and mailers and communicate with designated blood draw labs
  • Physical Examinations - Assist with in-person or TeleDoc type Beryllium health Physical Examinations
  • Provide assistance with required post-offer Physicals
  • Assist with OSHA Respirator Authorizations
  • Testing/Administer post-offer or random Drug and Alcohol screening
  • Follow up with terminated/former employees to ensure exit BLPT blood draws are offered and administered and former employees who report symptoms are contacted and services are scheduled.
  • Return to work coordination: Medical oversight of employees returning to work for Non-Work Related, & Work-Related medical issues. Oversee Transitional Work Program and Weekly restrictions meeting with plant Review and coordination of ADA accommodations review with plant
  • Plant Wellness - Assist with Corporate Bravo Wellness program initiatives

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Arizona State Licensed LPN or RN
  • Certified Pulmonary Function Technician
  • A minimum of 2 years working in an industrial facility, hospital, clinic or physician's office
  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office 365 suite and general network and internet navigation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team.

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).

The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction.
