Summary:
• Responsible for the leadership, direction and administration of a 911 Emergency Communication Center that conducts Ambulance and Helicopter Air Ambulance Dispatching
• Manages Emergency Medical Dispatchers and Communication Officers
• Oversees Quality Assurance processes within the Department
• Develops and maintains inter-agency relations with other Emergency Dispatch Centers
• Monitors and reports Response Times and Dispatch Data to other organizational leaders
• Responsible for preparing operating and capital budgets in conjunction with Finance Department and adherence with approved budgets for the department
• Bachelor's degree in Public Safety, Business or Communications related field is preferred
• Knowledge of EMS Communications to include PSAPs, Radio systems, CADs, GIS Mapping is required
