RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Ramsey, NJ that is seeking an End User Services Technician.Responsibilities:
  • Device Hardware Support: Maintains, analyzes and troubleshoots computer systems, hardware and supported peripherals
  • Software Support: Maintains, analyzes and troubleshoots, Windows & MAC Operating systems, Microsoft Office, M365, Antivirus, Google Apps (Workspace and GCP) & other standard applications
  • Remote Infrastructure & Software Support: Maintains, analyzes and troubleshoots Server Hardware and Operating Systems, Antivirus Software, File shares and security permissions
  • Domain Account Administration: Supports and maintains user account information, with a working knowledge of MS AD Domain Structures, security and server administration
  • Service Desk Tier 2 Support: Provide support to our Ramsey campus, branches and field employees daily via the IT Service Management application
Mobile Devices: Basic support of IOS, Android, and Chromebook devices
  • Documentation: Create and update procedural and instructional documentation when required
  • Perform other IT related duties as may be assigned from time to time


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and 2+ years of experience working with the specific types of hardware and software systems use by this company, or an equivalent 5 years of like experience
  • Professional certifications such as the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or equivalent years of experience
  • ITIL V2/V3 certification preferred
  • Agile Scrum Master certification preferred
  • Requires excellent analytical skills for researching and problem-solving
  • Demonstrates ability to take initiative and work independently
  • Strong written & verbal communication and interpersonal skills, along with a customer-focused attitude and the ability to work in a team environment
  • Should have a strong combination of skill, training, & experience in various hardware, software and networking systems being supported
  • Basic understanding of networking principles
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Desktop\Server OS & MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) as well as MAC OS
  • Aptitude for learning and assessing of innovative technologies
  • Ability to analyze and identify trends in issue reporting and devising preventive solutions
  • Assistance with creating IT communications directed to staff and\or employees
  • Resolving complex issues which require detailed systems and applications knowledge, especially those that have been escalated from other End User Technicians, Service Desk personnel or members of IT
  • Experience logging and managing tickets assigned via the IT Service Management application


The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
