  • Writing high-quality documentation for equipment specifications, validation protocols, assembly instructions, preventative maintenance, and calibration methods.
  • Analyze, and debug equipment issues with measurement accuracy, reliability, repeatability, and reproducibility.
  • Provide design engineers with Design for Manufacturability and Design for Reliability input to ensure consistency and commonality across product lines.

Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:

  • Minimum BS in relevant engineering field: mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, physics, etc., MS preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant test development engineering experience for a medium to high volume product.
  • Familiarity with generating new electrical schematics and/or wiring diagrams
  • Experience with industrial control systems and safety interlocks.
  • Familiarity with electro-mechanical equipment: motorized stages, optical sensors, optical alignment, machine vision cameras, etc.
  • Able to lead cross-disciplinary projects with broad engineering teams
  • Strong analytical skills to understand, analyze and improve the accuracy, repeatability, and reliability of measurement equipment.
  • Strong statistics and/or data analysis skills preferred.
  • Understanding of Six Sigma methodologies desirable.
