Responsibilities

• Support standalone ERP implementation for BrightDrop
• Create process flow and transaction flow documents to be used for system design
• Define business requirements for Finance regarding Sales, Software as a Service, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Product Development
• Work closely with the GM controllership team to determine accounting treatment of transactions for BrightDrop while utilizing the GM Chart of Accounts

Additional Job Description

Qualifications:

• 4+ years experience in Accounting/Finance
• Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance (preferred)
• Experience with leading an implementation and setting up of ERP systems
• Proven proficiency crafting and presenting stories
• Strategic mindset - Desire to challenge the cultural norms inside GM
• Strong communication - written and verbal
• SAP consolidation / GCARS / FP&A experience (preferred)
• Startup environment experience (preferred)

Desired Skills

• Ambiguity: comfortable working in white space (new areas/concepts)
• Highly self-motivated: lean reporting structure requires each person to work independently at times with little guidance from management to solve challenges.
• Project Management: ability to set clear timelines and plan accordingly to achieve key Go-Live dates
• Organized: track multiple workstreams in parallel for end-to-end system development
• Communication and Relationship building: ability to work with all levels within General Motors globally and across functional boundaries e.g. finance, purchasing, vehicle development, legal and built trust with customers, partners and other external stakeholders.
• Challenge the Status Quo: Enjoy working closely with other teams and at the same time asking them to stretch there thinking on subjects.
