At AstraZeneca (AZ), we're not afraid to do things differently. We're resetting expectations of what a bio-pharmaceutical company can be. This means we're opening up new ways to work, pioneering groundbreaking methods and bringing global teams together.
Our Oncology Business Unit (OBU) is making tremendous progress in bringing new treatments to patients. Since 2014, we have successfully launched 7 new medicines around the globe. And with the industry's most captivating pipeline, we will continue to launch novel products in new therapeutic indications and progress towards ultimately curing cancer as a cause of death.
As the Ethics and Compliance Associate Director you are responsible for driving AZ's compliance program in one or more AZ oncology franchises. You will represent Global Compliance as a member of management teams, projects or other (senior) cross-functional collaborations. We also need you to strategically contribute to the direction of AZ's compliance function and AZ's broader Sustainability objectives.
Together with your colleagues, you'll cultivate a culture of ethics, integrity, inclusion and diversity while helping to craft AZ's patient-centricity and digital priorities as we lean into the future. You will further our purpose to drive high standards of ethical behavior and accountability across AZ for sustainable success. And you will work to take steps and create initiatives to further strengthen our commitment to doing the right thing.
You'll report directly into the VP Compliance Oncology Business Unit (OBU), at our office based in Gaithersburg, MD, USA.
