Provide administrative support to Executives and leadership team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned. Working under minimal supervision, the Executive Administrative Assistant will be responsible for:

  • Arranging both domestic and international travel schedules for leaders supported.
  • Analyzes travel trends and expenses to determine alternatives to reduce costs.
  • Preparing spreadsheets, memos, documentation, presentations, and reports utilizing MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Coordinates multiple communication meetings
  • Helps track and report KPIs for the functions supported
  • Arranges and supports staff meeting including appropriate follow up actions
  • Coordinating and supporting internal meetings and conferences.
  • Coordinating calendars (Outlook) for leaders supported
  • Prioritizing and organizing tasks and information.
  • Interfacing with high-level internal and external contacts.
  • Drafting correspondence and ensuring follow-up.
  • Acting as contact when staff is unreachable.
  • Maintaining files and records as necessary.
  • Processing expense reports for leaders assigned.
  • Becoming familiar with the complexities of the different functions and identifies ways for process improvements.
  • Willingness to learn additional software packages as required.
  • Provides leadership and coordination for the broader admin team across Radford as required.
  • Supports special projects as needed.

  • Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Team's and Outlook skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive information.
  • Advanced knowledge of office procedures and general office equipment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal partners and external contacts.
  • Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and manage projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to exercise judgment within general defined practices and policies in deciding problems and solutions.
  • Willingness to learn additional software packages as required.

Job Requirements
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Five or more years of experience managing an office or supporting an executive.
  • Prior business management experience is a plus.
